Many patients who experience blurry vision often think they just need glasses.  However, damage to any part of the eye can result in decreased vision.  Some of the more common conditions that can involve the retina (the inner lining of the eye responsible for turning light into an electrochemical signal) include

• Epiretinal membranes

• Neovascularization

• Blocked arteries and/or veins

• Retinal infections and inflammation

• Retinal tears and detachments
